The Canadian Petroleum Law Foundation is an organization comprised of legal practitioners who focus on the Canadian Petroleum Industry. The CPLF was incorporated on September 12, 1963 with the objectives of fostering the development of and improving the law relating to the petroleum and natural gas industry and to raise the standards of the administration and practice of the said law. Our mandate is to publish the best oil and gas research papers and to have those papers accessible to the membership and legal community. Our papers are published in the Petroleum Law Edition of the Alberta Law Review and the Dalhousie Law Journal and we present our papers at our annual Seminars.
